Ever wonder what it’s like to be an offshore PHP Developer?

Maybe PHP development isn’t the kind of thing that keeps you up at night.  That’s fair enough.  But just in case, we chatted with one of our own to clue you in on his daily habits, routines, and work experience.  It’s not so different than what you might expect.

Mr. Singh, an offshore PHP Developer in India, says that he spends each morning with yoga and meditation, a relaxing way to focus his first energies of the day.  After a Sudoku puzzle and then breakfast, he makes his way to the office.  Pretty normal, you might think.

Here is where PHP development comes in.  It is his responsibility to code websites based on client orders.  There are constant demanding deadlines to be met and clients to please.  More often than not, this means late nights at the office to make sure a project is completed well and on time.  Thankfully there is a fully stocked coffee machine in the break room to keep him going.  When it comes down to it, the project really depends on the developer.  There is a lot of responsibility involved in that regards, he says.

He says that what he enjoys best about his job is problem-solving.  There are all sorts of issues that arise regarding the code, client requirements, and technical restraints.  Since the work he does is online, it is easily accessible and can be used for the betterment of PHP collaboration and website creation.  Mr. Singh solves the kind of applicable issues that frustrate so many others regarding website development.

So the next time you’re considering a career change, give PHP development a chance: solving the world’s problems, one website at a time.
