Your Face is the Ad

Posted by: Luiza Antunes in News

You might think that it is kind of creepy when your email starts placing advertisements in the sidebar based on things you’ve been talking about in your messages. Or maybe you’re already used to it. Well, get ready for a new level of personal infringement. Now the trend is using your face.

Today even 3-year-olds are using mobile software. Soon a system will help parents to control which apps are suitable – or not - for their children.
“There's an app for that”- technology enthusiasts and non-geeks alike have heard this phrase. It is an Apple’s slogan, used for iPhone 3G, released in 2008. Today the slogan still holds true - and not only for Steve Job’s creations. There are apps for other kinds of mobiles. Android users, for example, have thousands of them at their disposal.

What Every Teenager Wants

Posted by: Rafael in News

It was the first indication of adulthood, meaning freedom and a lot of new opportunities for the young, of course, but a lot of problems for parents.  Driving isn’t the safest of actions. Teenagers, even those who have a license, aren’t known as the most sober drivers on the road. Yes, it’s obvious: alcohol and cars aren’t best friends. Research done by the University of Utah, for instance, shows that driving after drinking is four times more dangerous than driving sober.

Smartphones and tablets are the stars of the moment. The number of mobile technology users doesn’t stop growing.
