Three ways to turn E commerce online shop in your highest earning sales representative ecommerce shopping cart1

Recently Cameron Chapman touched on some crucial mistakes that can be made in E-Commerce Design. What I can’t stress enough is the importance of getting your e-commerce right. It is not enough to just have a store online to sell your products and services. Users need to have the best possible shopping experience and customer service online, just as is required if they were to shop in a mall.

Web site usability has become an important element of successful Web sites. Web sites must be easy to use. Hard-to-use sites frustrate customers, forfeit revenue to on-line retailers, and erode the image of the company’s brand.

Once you have succeeded in attracting a consumer to your site and have induced them to look into buying an item from your E-commerce store, the last thing you want is to frustrate the customer enough into forcing them to leave. It is so easy to do. Care must be used when designing your E-commerce store.

I have split Chapman’s 15 mistakes into three critical areas:

How can business benefit from Google Wave?

How can business benefit from Google Wave? wavelogo

“What would email look like if we set out to invent it today?”

That was the question raised by Google when developing the new Google Wave, a real time platform for communication and collaboration which combines aspects of email, instant messaging, wikis, social networking, and project management into one centralized tool. Apart from if it would really replace the conventional e-mail, as was implied in the question, Wave is being greeted with great enthusiasm and interest by people all around the world, and your company should pay attention to that.

At Twitter, Google Wave has been in the trending topic list for many weeks. About three weeks after 100,000 Google Wave’s invitations were released to the public by previous subscription, Stephanie Hannon, product manager for Google Wave, announced last Sunday via Twitter the new round of invitations. Users are crazy to have one of those. Having the opportunity to be one of the first to try out the system has been so difficult that in USA the blogger Hagan Blount promoted a sale for his invitation at eBay. According to the Wall Street Journal, he received offers up to US$27,000. The auction was however withdrawn afterwards, as it did not comply with eBay’s rules.

The excitement surrounding Google Wave can be summarized in one simple word: innovation.

Future of the Internet internet future

There’s no doubt that the Internet might be subjected to criticism on a variety of fronts, it is unlikely that going online will ever suffer from the same type of scorn that other communication applications have received over the years. The impact of the Internet – whether measured by the numbers of users or by the social change it is causing – cannot be overestimated.

Internet has been seen as technical curiosity by many social observers – in particular, Mainstream media despite of the Internet’s growing influence. We contend that this neglect occurs in large measure because people not only don’t appreciate the true scope of the Internet, but also still don’t understand the merits associated with it.

Search Engine Blues

Search Engine Blues search engines1

Majority of people use a search engine by simply typing a few words into the query box and then scrolling through whatever comes up in the search engine results. It happens quite often that their choice of words ends up narrowing the search unduly and causing them not to find what they’re looking for. More often the end result of the search is a haystack of off-target web pages that must be combed through. You can do better than that, and that’s what this page is about.

Well, just follow these four things, start narrow, Find exact phrases, trim back on the URL, and then look for similar pages. So if you make a habit of using the four techniques described above, you’ll be a much better searcher than 90% of all web-users. It’s just four things, and each will provide you with a better net for information catching.

Censorship of the internet internet

Well, the Internet has always seen as a complex, living organism inhabited and lured by people from all nationalities, ages, and cultures, political and religious backgrounds. The Internet has spread useful information and global friendly messages to every nook and cranny on the planet despite international differences, languages and other odd factors. But today, the Internet is currently under fire because it is being blamed for having the irresponsible content.

Unfortunately, the problem arises with this freedom of expression of the World Wide Web and there is going to be distasteful material and indecent exposures. No one disagrees that some of the material that can be viewed is inappropriate, but this also couldn’t be ruled out that to some people it may be unacceptable who don’t have any sort of intention to access the available information in wrong manner. Web sites which contain pornographic material are the ones which we fear the most for our innocent children, however, censorship should never be used as the ‘easy way out’ as it has been so often used before by governments.

The Internet is Getting Slower

The Internet is Getting Slower internetexplorer 1No matter how fast your Internet connection is, there are times when things slow down to a crawl.

The type of Internet connection you use is the most important factor in determining your connection speed. The three most common ways to connect to the Internet from home are dial-up, DSL, and cable. If you have a choice, cable is usually the fastest, but both DSL and cable are faster than dial-up. The health of your computer can affect your Internet connection. Spyware and viruses can definitely cause problems, but your Internet connection speed can also be affected by add-on programs, the amount of memory the computer has, hard disk space and condition, and the programs that are running.

Browser add-ons also cause performance problems. Browser add-ons are programs, such as multimedia add-ons, search bars, or other programs that usually appear on your browser’s toolbar. Many browser add-ons can add to a rich browsing experience, offering multimedia or specialized document viewing. However, some add-ons can slow your Internet connection. If you suspect that add-ons are causing slow performance, try starting Internet Explorer in Add-ons disabled mode. Add-ons are disabled only for the session, but if you find your performance improves, you can use the Add-on Manager to turn them off permanently.

Unfortunately, there are events and conditions that are outside your control. Even with a fast connection, external factors, such as busy websites or spreading computer viruses, can slow the entire web. Popular websites can become overwhelmed with users. For example, when a television commercial mentions a website, many people might try to visit the site at the same time. If the website isn’t prepared to handle the traffic, you might encounter delays.
