Computer Vision in Developing Countries computer vision1

Computer vision in developing regions has been experiencing fast growth, especially in the automotive, pharmaceutical, packaging, and electronic industries. Although high quality research is carried out in many educational institutions and industry laboratories in developing regions, the visibility of these efforts within the international community is rather low.

The projects going on in developing regions, however, can bring new perspectives to the international research community, because the constraints and conditions of research projects on developing regions are frequently different from what researchers in developed regions typically encounter. Hence, when some one want to use or to reproduce a portion of a work and needs permission of the copyright owner to do so, then it must be make sure first that who owns the copyright because the creator of the work may have given his rights provided by copyright law to another party.

Public Libraries and Internet public libraries

The fact about Public libraries is that they cannot lose their hold as community centers for discourse and exploration. It is better to take a stance against government regulations of Internet use rather than placing unnecessary restrictions on user’s ability to research, maintaining that individuals have the freedom to seek and digest information. Day by day, better methods of dealing with Internet use issues are developing, implementing, and publicizing an Internet use policy with specific repercussions for misuse, situating Internet computers such that they can be easily monitored by staff, and using privacy screens or recessed monitors if necessary to ensure the privacy of individual users.
